Barn Fire

My husband is a volunteer firefighter.  Every now and then I get the exciting opportunity to get to some of the calls and take pictures.  This was a barn fire this past spring.

I am still here with lots to share.

Same day

After leaving the engagement session, I went to another location for a family session.

Fabulous Fall!

We had an engagement session this weekend. The colours were perfect and so was the weather, sunny and crisp! This couple are getting married in Aug. of 2010.

Shhhhhh!!!!!

This is the same couple from the last post. I'm delivering them their pictures today, so she hasn't seen them yet. So don't tell her you saw this one. LOL

We thought this wedding was going to be a wash out! It poured all morning. Miraculously, the rain stopped after the ceremony just in time to get outdoor photo's.

My favorite season

I love fall, except for the fact that I become a widow, due to farming. Here's a small reminder of summer.

2 Months short of a year!

I have been really bad at this lately. I have plenty of photo's to post, I just need to find the time to do it. Now that my work hours are slowing down, I might be able to get some pictures posted. Lord knows I have a few to share. I wonder if anyone bothers to check anymore. LOL

Two in One Day

Since I know people are checking again, I wanted to post this one too. Gram's barn.

A day off?

It's been so long since we had a Sunday to do nothing. We drove out to Park's and on the way back, found ourselves in Wheatly. So we swung by the beach.

Wedding season is done

Now that all our wedding are done for this year, here's a photo I love. I gave a copy to the florist and she is planning on using it in her advertising. So exciting!

Baby Kildeer

The boys have been watching a Kildeer nest at my inlaws. It hatched 3 babies. They have such strange behaviours. When you get too close to the nest, the adult will flop around like it has a broken wing and they babies stay in one place and won't move. That's who dh got to pick this one up. No harm came to the baby and he put it right back where he found it.

Enough Rain Already!

We have rain every day for the past week, I think. These pictures are the water running off the fields, after a storm on Saturday.

Wind Energy

We took a drive today, in the rain. (no surprise there) In between rain drops, I managed to get some pictures of the Wind Turbines near Port Alma. It's not quiet the look I was going for, so we'll be going back again when the skies are bright blue.

Self Portrait

I've been wanting to find some shiney chrome to do this. My brother in-law is selling his Harley and asked me to take pictures of it for him. And voila! I found chrome.

Another picture from skating day. It wasn't actually snowing that day, but with the power of photoshop, we got a few inches.
